London Visit
I just realized that I totally forgot to blog my london weekend! Unforgivable heid! So here are some pics of my very short weekend. Had a great time with Srini, Nadine and Lisa on Fri night, catching up. We ate pizza, drank wine and smoked shisha - felt like being in Prague again!
On saturday i did some sightseeing, shopping, coffe, beer, dinner, club - the whole London experience in one day! Met Tiziana in the afternoon. Got to meet Marvin, Kerry, Gordon and Alex again for dinner. Had a hilarious time in a cheesy club making fun of the ppl there with Srini. The DJ was too hilarious for words...honestly
Sunday woke up packed and caught the train home. A weekend well spent i must say.
Thank you srini for the weekend. It was good being around you again and remembering the fun times of Prague and AIESEC. It was good bringing back those memories with someone I had shared so much with!
Prague friends together again
Here we are together again after 2 years! I must admit srini you haven't changed much - thats a good thing! i've missed you!

The Mad Rush
There is a very popular saying,
It never rains, it pours
which can be applied to many, many things. Right now that phrase can be perfectly applied to my life. So many things are happening all the time, that unless one is very careful, it could be very easy to lose your head in the rush of the day that was yesterday and not be able to catch up in the today.
All the lectures, assignments, tutorials, readings, labs, makes uni life the busiest ever. I don't remember ever having spent so much time on uni work before. Then plus the night life, hanging out with friends and travelling keeps you very much occupied for the rest of the time.
Mind you, I am not complaining. Its so much fun being busy and always having somewhere to go or something to do. It makes me feel like i am living my life thoroughly, every minute of every day. However, it makes you value the little time you have to yourself to be able to think, or read, or feel a little lazy.
So although I might complain of too much work, I must admit life is good and I am very happy doing what I am doing right now. Bring on the rest!!
Meeting the Irish
I've always thought that having lovely mad Irish Liza as a flatmate gave me an understanding of what the Irish are like.
I now know that I've been very wrong believing this.
This afternoon Ireland are playing Scotland in a Rugby match here in Edinburgh. Since it is being said that it is more than likely that Ireland will beat Scotland, the Irish have swarmed in and taken over the city.
I went out last night with Liza and a few other Irish friends of hers. It started off great, it was all so lively with laughs and the like. We then decided it was time to get out and meet people, so we ended up at an Irish bar swarming with irish fans. It was totally mad in all senses in an exciting sort of way. Many times I had to take a step back and just observe the people I was around. They were all loud and jolly, with big smiles and great laughs. It must be great being Irish and living with such people.
I've never seen the city so full of people either, except for New year. There was a spirit to the evening, and the fact that it was raining and we got soaked through only added to the exciting madness of the night.
Talk about the maddest night ever, i've just had mine!
Love it or leave it
Its a simple enough philosphy, one that should be taken with anything you do in life. If you are not loving what you are doing then please do yourself a favour and find something you actually enjoy! People stop existing in the here and now so much, I should know, i am one of them. Its easy to get wrapped up in thoughts and future plans that you fail to recognize a day well spent, or a lovely sunset, or a fun evening out with friends.
People must stop saying, "things will get better, this is just a phase", and instead acknowledge that things aren't great and DO something about it. It will make living your life so much more worthwhile
