I am currently sitting at my desk at the labs in jeans and a wooly jumper. I have a summer top underneath, but it would be madness to wear just that since its still FREEZING!!!!Next saturday is my birthday, and more than the disbelief of being 26 is the disbelief that I will be celebrating my birthday in 10C weather! It really is astonishing how cold it is here. Gone are the days when I could celebrate my birthday by sunbathing on the beach, and wearing sunny dresses!!
Its these little things that make you realize how much your heart aches for home sometimes. You might take the girl out of the mediterranean, but I can guarantee that you will never be able to take the mediterranean out of the girl!
All you enjoying the sun, please send some sun and warmth this way!!

Don't worry all that much about the weather - its playing up so much here! Today its really cloudy and chilly. so there is no way you'd be sunbathing. Althought yesterday was a very sunny day and I got sunburnt - was at the beach from 9 - 11 am. Can you imagine that?!

I know what you mean. Sunshine always makes you smile. That's the best part about Melbourne. Might be freezing cold, but the sun's out, and shining. :)
